2013 Twelfth Night Party
The 213 Twelfth Night Party will be held on Saturday, January 5th 2013 from 2:00
to 5:00PM at:
Here’s to 2013 and another 12th Night. Remember how it goes? Once everyone has gathered, the “First Footer” arrives to drive out any bad spirits left from last year. He presents the traditional gifts of bread, coal, and money to make sure we have food, heat and wealth throughout the year. We then sit down to an all-you-can-eat feast of roast meats, vegetables, salads, bonnag (Manx bread), beverages, and desserts.
It looks like there will Manx games and fun activities. Afterwards, we’ll find the tail of the Manx cat, play the pass-theparcel game, and sing Auld Lang Syne.
If you are curious about what we are about, this is our main social event and a great time to say Hi. Who knows, you might meet someone who shares the same unique last name and can share some fascinating family history.
